Ramazan Abdulatipov visits Ingushetia

Makhachkala, May 16, 2013. On Wednesday, May 15, as part of a working trip to the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, Daghestani President Ramazan Abdulatipov visited Ingushetia.

 

Ramazan Abdulatipov was accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister Abussupian Kharkharov, the Deputy Head of Daghestan president and government’s administration Ismail Efendiev and other officials. At first, Ingushetia President Yunus-Bek Yevkurov led Daghestan delegation to the Memorial of Ingush people’s glory.

 

After inspecting the complex, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and Ramazan Abdulatipov laid flowers at the monument of the legendary Wild Division riders.

 

There was also a short tour through the territory of the Ingushetia president’s residence. The conversation continued in Yunus-Bek Yevkurov’s office, where he noted that the friendship between the peoples of the two republics has been determined by the ancestors.

 

Yunus-Bek Yevkurov also pointed out Abdulatipov’s great experience and wisdom. Daghestan President Ramazan Abdulatipov, in turn, thanked Yunus-Bek Yevkurov for the warm welcome:

 

"This meeting is very important for us. God willing, we will regularly meet and negotiate issues of mutual cooperation. We have the opportunities for such cooperation in the economic and cultural spheres. The Ingush people is a talented one. We would be pleased to establish this partnership."

 

Regarding Abdulatipov’s first 100 days in office, Y. Evkurov said it is a short term by ordinary standards, but a long time for a region’s leader.

 

"A great volume of work with Daghestan parliament has been done; serious economic work has started in Daghestan, including activities at the seaport, airport, etc. It’s been done by Daghestan Head and the new parliament in a short time, including a crucial elections issue", - Yevkurov said.

 

A stroll through the center of Ingushetia’s capital concluded Daghestan delegation’s visit.
