Ministry spokesman: Azerbaijani side fired at highway

According to information received from Tavush province, Azerbaijan has violated the ceasefire at Baghanis section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as a result of which Baghanis-Ijevan main highway was closed, with another road being used.


Asked by if shots were fired at Armenian settlements, the Armenian Defense Ministry’s spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisian said: “Azerbaijan violated the rules of the ceasefire regime and opened fire on Armenian positions. A few single shots were fired at the highway. The situation is stable at the moment”.
