Armenia may join Customs Union in April
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will attend a session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Commission in Minsk on April 29 and may sign a treaty to join the Moscow-led Customs Union, Panorama.am reports.
Karine Minasyan, deputy minister for economy and head of the Armenian working group for joining the Customs Union, said that steps set in the road map had been accomplished. The treaty will be signed by presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia.
No decision has been made for 900 types of goods. The custom fees for them in Armenia are lower than the fees of the Customs Union.
