Russia to Supply Armenia with Heavy Weapons for 200 Million Dollars
The Russian government and the authorities of Armenia have signed an agreement to grant Yerevan a state export credit up to $ 200 million for ten years with the payment in 2018.
According to Interfax, Armenia buys Russian multiple launch rocket systems Smerch and ammunition for anti-aircraft complexes Igla-S, ground-based electronic intelligence Autobase-M, heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A, antitank missile complex Konkurs-M, grenade launchers RPG-26, Dragunov sniper rifles, armored cars Tiger, engineering tools and means of communication.
The list may be amended by mutual written agreement between the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation and the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
