North Caucasus border officers put red flag on Elbrus
North Caucasus border officers have put a red flag symbolizing the victory of the Soviet Union over the Nazi Germany on the peak of Elbrus. The action was held in order to mark the 70th anniversary of the battle for the Caucasus.
14 alpine troopers have taken part in the action, the border office of the Russian Federal Security Service says.
