Daghestani President visits a number of Daghestan cultural facilities
Makhachkala, May 21, 2013. On Monday, May 20, the acting Daghestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov visited the oldest building in Daghestan capital - Prince Bariatinskiy’s home in Makhachkala, where Daghestan Ministry of Agriculture has housed until recently.
As to the president and government’s press service, Daghestan National Assembly’s Chairman Khizri Shikhsaidov, and Shakhabas Shakhov the head of Daghestan president and government’s administration, accompanied the acting president in his trip.
It is well-known that by the president’s decision, the architectural attraction more than 100 years old will soon house the Makhachkala museum complex. It will place more than 170,000 exhibits of Daghestan State Associated Historical and Architectural Museum and the National Museum called the "Daghestan aul" ethnographic complex.
Ramazan Abdulatipov saw the process of the building’s transfer, learned about emerging problems and gave some recommendations for amenities provision. He instructed to complete the placement of the museum complex in a week's time, and noted all the necessary support will be provided.
