Dagestan has not been developing for the last 20 years, leader says
According to the acting head of the Dagestani republic, Ramzan Abdulatipov, Dagestan has not been developing for the last 20 years. The Dagestani leader said so in an interview with the Russia 1 TV channel.
Abdulatipov also said that now only 1.28 per cent of population work in the sphere of industry in Buynaksk, while before the 1917 revolution the figure was 4.27 per cent.
This means that during the century the situation in the region has changed for the worse, the head of the republic says.
According to him, Dagestan needs a new phase of industrialization
