FC "Anzhi" prepares for Russian football season in Austria

Makhachkala, July 5, 2013. Irdning is a small Austrian town to the east of Salzburg. Neat houses, narrow streets, old Fraus in traditional costumes, smiling friendly faces, lots of bright greens feature the local colour at first sight.

Gaggles of local boys - autograph hunters – are daily waiting for Daghestan players near the training centre and at the hotel. Makhachkala football club "Anzhi"’s stay is surrounded with an atmosphere of intense attention of local residents. FC "Anzhi" celebrities’ visits are always an event for the town’s population.
