The National Council met in Tbilisi
Category: Members of the National Council of Democratic Forces of Azerbaijan arrived in Tbilisi today, where they will meet with the head of the opposition structure Rustam Ibrahimbekov.
The renowned screenwriter was going to arrive on July 31 in Baku, but at the last moment he changed his mind, fearing machinations of the Azerbaijani authorities.
"Now the main task is to quickly resolve the question of my Russian citizenship. My advisors recommended me not to return to Baku without solving this issue," said Ibrahimbekov to reporters.
Today, the National Council will discuss current issues and future steps in the near and long term.
