100,000 Russians demand visa regimes for Central Asia and South Caucasus

Some 100 thousand Russian citizens signed a petition to the State Duma demanding visa regimes for the republics of Central Asia and the South Caucasus, head of the public relations department of the State Duma Yury Shuvalov said today.
The petition was drafted by the unregistered political party New Power.
"This petition has in fact been submitted to the State Duma. 103 thousand people signed the petition. The document has already been sent to the chairnan of the house," RIA Novosti cites Shuvalov as saying.
