Family livestock farms program implemented in Daghestan

Makhachkala, April 23, 2013. Daghestan Ministry of Agriculture headed by Bashir Baitemirov organized a meeting on how the ministry’s target program "Development of family-based livestock farms for 2012-2014" is implementated in 2013.

 

The Deputy Minister Saigitali Abdurazakov, the Deputy Head of Economic Analysis Department Gadzhimurad Enkhov, heads of regional departments of agriculture, and potential grant applicants came to the meeting.

 

"Bashir Baytemirov noted that the implementation of the program ought to radically change the overall cattle-breeding situation in the republic. The global goal is to create about 20 modern family livestock farms, to increase the number of livestock, enhance meat and milk production, and thereby raise Daghestan agriculture" - the source noted.

 

it is reported that the Interim minister recommended farmers to consider the experience of neighboring republics in their work, especially Tatarstan’s experience. The Deputy Minister Saigitali Abdurazakov told the grant applicants about the conditions of participation in the program and gave detailed answers to their questions.
