Umar Akaev, agriculture boss of Kumtorkalin District detained in Dagestan
Today, within the investigation into the theft of 162 million roubles, Umar Akaev, the head of the agricultural department of the administration of the Kumtorkalin District of Dagestan, was detained, said the press service of the Russian FSB Department for Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the head of the Municipality Formation "Kumtorkalin District" Ruslan Toturbiev was detained on September 19 on suspicion of a fraud and embezzlement of more than 160 million roubles. Toturbiev is suspected of organizing a criminal grouping that stole the money from the programmes of resettling people out of dilapidated houses.
"Akaev is suspected of embezzling, jointly with the earlier detained head of the Kumtorkalin District Ruslan Toturbiev, of 162 million roubles from the budget," the spokesman of the above FSB Department told in an interview to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
