US House Committee to Hold Hearing on Azerbaijan

 

A key Congressional committee will be holding an open hearing on Azerbaijan next Thursday, TURAN's Washington correspondent reports.

 
The hearing called "Azerbaijan: U.S. Energy, Security, and Human Rights Interests" will be held by the The House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia, and Emerging Threats. 
 
The following witnesses are scheduled to testify at the hearing: Richard Kauzlarich, Former US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Svante Cornell, Johns Hopkins University's Central Asia-Caucasus Institute director and Audrey Altstadt, fellow at Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
