Azerbaijani Delegation to UN Committee to Respond to 90 Questions
In the course of the 11-12 November Geneva meeting of the UN Committee against Torture, the Azerbaijani delegation was asked 90 questions.
Turan was told in the World Organization against Torture, the issues of 10 members of the Committee and participants of the meeting concerned the ill-treatment of detainees, especially known activists.
The Azerbaijani delegation representing various departments, including the police, will have to answer the questions for three hours. Then clarifying questions will follow.
After a few weeks, the Committee will publish a document entitled Summary of Observation, which will reflect the disturbing questions and recommendations.
