Germany and the EU are pleased to release Leyla Yunus
The German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier called the change a measure of restraint of the Azerbaijani human rights activist Leyla Yunus to house arrest "an important humane step," reported late evening on December 9 the Agency AFP.
