MNS ceases to exist

In accordance with the presidential decree on the basis of the National Security Ministry was established the Foreign Intelligence Service, and its head was appointed Orkhan Sultanov; and the State Security Service, the head by Madat Guliyev, Acting Minister of National Security.
Both services to prepare and submit within one month the draft provisions, the structures and staff.
Cabinet was instructed to finance services in the years 2015-2016 from the funds provided for the Ministry of National Security. They were also charged with conduct logistical, legislative and other activities in connection with the creation of new services.
This means that the Ministry of National Security established on the basis of the KGB Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic in November 1991, does not exist any more.
