Pardon Commission Submitted Names of 22 Political Prisoners

Today a meeting of the Joint Working Group on Human Rights discussed the nominations for the upcoming pardon.
A member of the working group, the human rights activist Novella Jafaroglu told Turan they decided to transfer to the Commission of Pardon under the President the names of 22 people.
Among them are Tofig Yagublu, Ilgar Mammadov, Intigam Aliyev, Anar Mammadli, Rasul Jafarov, Yadigar Sadygly, Khadija Ismayilova, the activists of NIDA and others.
All these persons are recognized by local and international organizations as political prisoners.
