Astrid Lindgren’s Works Published in Azerbaijani
The Swedish Embassy in Azerbaijan organized a presentation of the famous children books writer Astrid Lindgren, translated and published in the Azerbaijani language, in the settlement of Masazir.
The embassy reports that the translation and publication of the right belongs to the publishing house Ali and Nino.
Three of the most famous heroes of books by Lindgren, Carlson, Peppi and Emil, are presented in 9 books.

Overall 610 schools with children of IDPs and refugees throughout Azerbaijan will receive the 9 books.
According to the head of the publishing house Ali and Nino Nigar Kocharli, books in the Azerbaijani language include the original illustrations of the works published in 1945, 1955 and 1964 respectively.
Each book is published in 1,000 copies, and after the free distribution to schools, the rest will be offered for sale at a price of 10 manat each.
