Soldiers of the highland brigade of the Southern Military District had shooting drills at the Alpiysky Range in Chechnya. Over 200 soldiers and 30 vehicles shot over 500 targets, using advanced communication and new aiming equipment.

Special attention was paid to coordinated moves when switching from the defensive to the offensive stances, training of leadership skills of junior officers.
