Medvedev calls Chechnya Russia's carte de visite
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at the governmental commission for development of the NCFD in Nalchik that Chechnya was a carte de visite of Russia. Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov noted that he had sent Medvedev a letter describing the assistance the republic needed for economic development, Yuga.ru reports.
Medvedev stated that Chechnya was doing better and better. Kadyrov replied that the Stavropol Territory was ahead of Chechnya.
The Russian prime minister promised to consider Kadyrov's request for additional financing. The sides discussed the economic and social problems of Chechnya. Kadyrov informed Medvedev about the realization of projects in the republic and efforts to make competitive products.
