Turkish FM Travels to Baku

 

Today Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will arrive in Baku. He wrote this in his micro blog on Twitter.

The reason for the visit and the program of the meetings are not disclosed. However, it can be assumed that the subject of worsening of the Turkish-Russian relations will be in the spotlight.

In particular, Cavusoglu may ask Baku to take a clearer position and contribute to the removal of tension. It is also possible that Cavusoglu will raise the issue of the Russian Navy missile strikes from the Caspian region, which is a threat both for Azerbaijan and Turkey.
