Tekali Process to continue in Berlin
The Tekali Process was organized at the SED Federal Fund for Dictatorship Liquidation and supported by the Eurocaucasia Center in Berlin. Professor Eva-Maria Auch of the History Department of the Azerbaijani Humboldt University was moderating the talks.
Azerbaijani, Georgian and Armenian activists said that the meeting in Tekali was organized after the clashes on the Azerbaijani-Armenian line in 2012. Georgy Vanyan of the Caucasus Center for Peacekeeping Initiatives said that Tekali was breaking stereotypes for 25 years. Professor Ali Abbasov believes that the process will be the starting point for restoration of relations. Murad Gasanly plans to host a rock festival in Tekali next time.
Azerbaijani, Armenian and Georgian NGO officials made presentations for German MPs. They hope that European structures would support the process.
