The court fines Gultekin Hajibeyli

 

The Yasamal Court  fined 500 manat Gultekin Hajibeyli, a member of the National Counci.  udge Sardar Mehraliyev partially upheld the complaint of Mahmud Mehdiyev ,  former husband  of Hajibeyli and his sister Aynur Mehdiyeva. Hajibeyli was fined under Article 147.1  for defamation Mehdiyev. In addition, she must pay  150 manat,  the costs of the examination of 150.

Commenting Turan decision of the court, Hajibeyli called it unreasonable, fabricated and ridiculous. "In fact, the court had insulted my honor and dignity. The judge obviously took an illegal decision, and must bear responsibility  under Article 295 of the Criminal Code (deliberate passing an unjust decision, the sentence).

 The judge grossly falsified the facts, despite the fact that the expert opinion of Justice was in my favor, said Hajibeyli. According to her, the court fined her for re-publishing in the press material that Aynur Mehdiyeva was sentenced to eight years on charges of human trafficking. "I will obtain bringing  the judge Sardar Mehraliyev to justice for ruling unjust sentence,"  said Hajibeyli.
